My best recommendation: travel to VN with empty suitcases and buy everything in VN, (per suggestion from L.S., APV). All major cities have supermarkets with anything needed, and it is MUCH more fun to shop there. The only exception = any baby meds (tylenol, motrin) you may want to have on hand.
