Hi! We are the Davis family! Our family consists of mom, dad, and five great kids ranging in age from 18 years down to 3. |
|
| Dad, who goes by the name of Mike, is a Periodontist (that's a dentist who specializes in gum surgery--this is what prevents you from losing your teeth). He is known to many around our town as the "Disneyland Dad." He loves being a dad and spending time with his wife and five kids. He is a sports "nut," and will watch all forms of sport which the TV provides. Attending his kids different sporting events, piano recitals, and dance recitals is right up there on his list of favorite activities. He used to have hobbies such as golf, but right now his hobby is his kids! |

Mom, also known as Laurie, is a stay-at-home mom, which is a term we use lightly as she is rarely home! She loves to sew and used to have a children's clothing business making original clothes for kids clothing stores. Now she runs an independent nutracutical business from her home. She is a firm believer in the benefits of taking supplements into our bodies. Laurie loves being a mom. |
| Lyndsay is the oldest "kid" in the family. She is a freshman in college and after two months of school is finally getting over her homesickness. She plans to go into nursing. She has a beautiful voice and is a terrific actress. She was the one who inspired mom and dad to pursue their adoption dream. |

Randy is next. He is 16 years old and a junior in high school. He loves rollerblading and he is a cheerleader at his school. He is getting really "buff" lifting all those girls into the air! He is a terrific big brother. |
| Jameson is now officially the "middle" child. He is 13 and is in the 7th grade. He plays every sport offered and is really a terrific athlete. This was his first year in tackle football. Jameson was the kicker and has a great foot for kicking from all his years on the soccer team. He also plays soccer, basketball, and loves to rollerblade. |

Caitlin is 10 and gladly gave up the position as "baby of the family" when we adopted her brother Jacson. Caitlin, too, is quite an athlete. She also plays on the traveling soccer team. She is a valuable player to the team. She also plays basketball, acts in plays, takes jazz dance, and piano lessons. Caitlin sponsors a boy names Tran Hieu Trung who lives in the Ben Tre orphanage in VietNam. She pays for this by doing extra chores around the house and yard. She said she picked Tran Hieu Trung because he was cute! Caitlin went from being the baby of the family to second mom to Jacson. She is great with him! |
| Jacson is three and is the "baby of the family." We adopted him in May of 1997. He is from the Soc Trang orphanage in VietNam. He was 19 months old when he joined our family. He has been a terrific blessing to our family. He is adored not only by his family, but by the entire community we live in! He is a great ambassador for the adoption cause, and how wonderful it can turn out. Jacson's adjustment to our family has been wonderful! |
